Please keep the following guidelines in mind during your visit:
The UAE is generally relaxed, but as an Islamic country, modest clothing is recommended, especially in malls, souks, rural areas, and when visiting mosques.
Alcohol service and live entertainment are not permitted for 24 hours, starting from sunset on the day before a religious holiday. The legal drinking age in the UAE is 21.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. Eating, drinking, or smoking in public during daylight hours is not permitted for anyone.
Some restaurants, cafés, and hotels continue serving food in designated areas.
